The Last Couple Of Months

My Mom and Dad came to Utah to see one of Berkley's basketball games, and to take Jen and Lilly back to Rexburg with them. It was so fun being able to be with them. We all went swimming at the hotel they like to stay at, and got the kids McDonalds to take back to the hotel before we swam. Then we headed up to Rexburg that weekend, for TONS of fun! The highlights of the weekend were the kids going sledding behind the snowmobile with Grandpa, starting a penny whistle band with Grandpa, and making Valentine's cards with Grandma! Lilly and Maddox couldn't get enough of eachother. They were best buddies the entire trip!

Lilly made Berkley the sweetest card for Valentine's Day!

The Penny Whistle Band...VERY EXCITING!

Swimming at the Hotel

Lilly and Maddox at Thanksgiving Point, while they were here during the week.

Riding the train at the mall that Jen and I were shopping at.

Berkley turned Six!!! We celebrated his birthday in Rexburg with an ice cream cake from Grandma, and then when we got back, he wanted a Transformers party. We invited 16 kids, and of course every single one showed up, so it was a PARTY! Berkley has so many adorable friends in kindergarten and in our neighborhood.

Berkley was on his first basketball team at the beginning of this year, and it makes me smile just writing about it! He was so into it in the beginning, and would do this little skip-hop run when his team was doing good, and he would get excited! We would watch him and laugh. He also would spin circles, dance around, and the lady in charge of the score board told us he was her favorite kid to watch! He really was entertaining to watch, even though he never made any baskets! As time went on and he hadn't made a basket (the first graders would always make all the baskets), he started to give up a little bit. Mike would keep telling him to try his hardest, and he would guard his guy like nobody else. The ref got mad at him a couple of times, because he was guarding a little bit too well! The last game, he made his first basket, and the excitement made the whole season worth it. He was so excited, that he just stood there and jumped with his arms in the air! It was the perfect end to the season!

Our good friend Mike, took us (minus Savanna)and his little cousins to the Monster Truck Rally! The boys thought is was great! I couldn't believe the noise that came out of those things!!!

And last but not least: Savanna auditioned to be an orphan in the production of "Annie" at the Scera Theater in Orem, and MADE IT!!! We couldn't be more excited! My amazingly talented friend, Jennifer Reed, is going to be directing it, so it will be, without a doubt, wonderful! I am already counting down the days until I get to see it!
